How 4D imaging works
We attempt 4D imaging after the clinical portion of the appointment.
The clinical scan takes priority first. Once that is complete, we move on to 4D imaging.
Quality depends mainly on fetal position, gestation, maternal tissue, and fluid volume.
If the face is not well seen, we explain the limitation clearly and focus on the best views available on the day.
