Foot ultrasound provides high-resolution assessment of the plantar fascia, accessible tendons, intermetatarsal spaces, bursae, joints, ganglion cysts and other superficial soft-tissue structures.
It is particularly useful for plantar heel pain, suspected Morton’s neuroma, tendon problems, focal lumps and selected forefoot or midfoot soft-tissue concerns.
Dynamic scanning can also be used where symptoms are related to movement or tendon function.
