• Tendons & muscles: gluteal tendinopathy/tears, iliopsoas and adductor pathology.
• Bursae & fluid: trochanteric bursitis and joint effusions.
• Ligaments & capsular region: signs of strain, synovitis or capsular thickening.
• Nerves & dynamic impingement signs: snapping hip, friction, or entrapment indicators.
• Post‑injury follow‑up: recovery monitoring after soft‑tissue injury or surgery.

Comfortable, non‑invasive scan

Ultrasound gel is applied and a high‑resolution probe is moved over the hip region. Dynamic imaging may include gentle movement to assess function and detect subtle abnormalities. A typical appointment lasts 15–20 minutes, and you’ll receive a same‑day summary and written report.

Simple preparation

No special preparation is required — eat and drink normally. Wear loose clothing for easy access to the hip area, and bring any previous medical reports related to your hip, if available.
