Detailed real-time assessment of wrist tendons, nerves and soft tissues
Wrist ultrasound provides high-resolution assessment of the flexor and extensor tendons, tendon sheaths, median nerve, ganglion cysts and other superficial soft-tissue structures.
It is particularly useful for suspected tenosynovitis, tendon injury, ganglion cysts, selected carpal-tunnel-region abnormalities and focal swelling or pain.
Dynamic scanning can also be used where symptoms occur during wrist or tendon movement.
