What the scan assesses
- Tendons & ligaments: inflammation, tears, sprains, degeneration affecting wrist movement or grip.
- Nerve compression: evaluation of median nerve / carpal tunnel and other entrapments.
- Joint & soft tissues: synovitis, joint effusions, ganglion cysts, bursae, cartilage changes.
- Post-injury / post-op: follow-up imaging after fractures or surgeries.
