FAQ
Quick answers before booking.
What does a growth scan measure?
We take biometry measurements (growth measurements) and provide an estimated fetal weight (EFW). We explain results in context and document any limitations.
Do you use Doppler?
Doppler is used only when clinically indicated for a defined question. If it’s not indicated, we don’t add it “just because”.
Will I get a report, images and clips?
Yes — you receive a same-day Medifile report, digital images, and short baby clips where obtainable/recorded.
Does this replace NHS scans?
No. This complements NHS maternity care. Please keep all NHS antenatal and screening appointments.
What if I’m worried about reduced movements?
NHS guidance is to contact maternity triage immediately. Do not wait for a private scan.
