Follicle Tracking Ultrasound — Single Scan or 3-Scan Package
Choose one follicle-tracking scan when you need a single measurement point, or select our 3-scan package for structured monitoring across one menstrual cycle. Transvaginal ultrasound is used for accurate follicle and endometrial assessment.
One scan when you need it — or 3 scans for cycle tracking
Both options use the same detailed follicular monitoring protocol. The difference is whether you need a single measurement point or structured serial monitoring within the same cycle.
One Follicle Tracking Scan
Best when you need a single follicle and endometrial assessment on a specific cycle day, or when your fertility clinic has requested one monitoring scan.
Follicle Tracking Package — 3 Scans per Cycle
Three follicular monitoring scans within one menstrual cycle, with the timing of scans adjusted according to cycle length, follicular growth and previous scan findings.
Choose your clinic and scan option
Each clinic card lets you choose either one follicle tracking scan or the 3-scan package.

What follicle tracking measures
Each scan is tailored to the stage of your cycle and the reason for monitoring.
Follicle growth
Serial or one-off measurements of developing ovarian follicles, including dominant follicle size where present.
Endometrial thickness
Measurement and description of the endometrial lining as the cycle progresses.
Ovarian appearance
Both ovaries are reviewed for follicle distribution, size, morphology and relevant cystic findings.
Uterus
Relevant structural uterine findings, such as fibroids, are documented where visible.
Baseline AFC
Antral follicle count can be included during an early-cycle baseline scan where clinically appropriate.
Cycle progression
Serial scans can document follicular growth and endometrial development to support cycle or treatment planning.
How the 3-scan package may be scheduled
These are example timings for a regular natural cycle. Actual timing is adjusted to the patient and previous scan findings.
Baseline
Assess the uterus, endometrium, ovaries and early-cycle follicles. AFC may be included where appropriate.
Follicle tracking
Measure developing follicles and document endometrial thickness and appearance.
Follow-up
Reassess follicular growth and endometrial development. Further scans can be added if clinically required.
Choose the option that matches your monitoring need
Single scan
Useful when a fertility clinic has requested one scan on a specific cycle day, or when you need one follicle/endometrial measurement point.
3-scan package
Better suited to serial cycle monitoring where follicular growth needs to be followed over more than one appointment.
IVF / medicated cycles
Follow the treating fertility clinic’s schedule. Three scans may be insufficient and extra monitoring may be needed.
