Do I need a GP referral?
No. The service can be booked directly online.
Do I need a full bladder?
Yes. Please drink about two pints (approximately 1 litre) of water roughly one hour before your appointment and avoid emptying your bladder until after the scan.
Is there a transvaginal scan?
A transvaginal ultrasound may be performed if clinically indicated and only with your explicit consent. The current service sends a secure text to confirm consent beforehand.
What is included in the £300 package?
A fertility-focused pelvic ultrasound plus the 9-marker fertility hormone panel: LH, Prolactin, SHBG, Testosterone, TSH, Estradiol, DHEA-S, AMH and Free Androgen Index.
What does the £500 Premium package add?
It includes the Health Check package plus a 15-minute online GP consultation to interpret the results and discuss next steps.
What does the £600 Super Premium package include?
It includes pelvic ultrasound, the Ultimate Fertility Bloods panel described on the current service as 49 biomarkers, plus a 15-minute online GP consultation.
Where are the blood tests carried out?
Blood tests are carried out at our approved partner locations. We do not name individual partners on this page, but our partner locations are within walking distance from most UKSONO Healthcare locations.
How soon will I get my results?
Ultrasound findings are available the same day. Blood-test results typically arrive within 24–72 hours depending on the panel.
Is the ultrasound painful?
Pelvic ultrasound is generally well tolerated. A transvaginal scan is optional and is only performed with consent.
