Do I need a GP referral?
No. You can book the Neck & Thyroid Scan or a Thyroid Health Check directly with UKSONO Healthcare.
Do I need to prepare for the ultrasound?
No specific preparation is needed. Please make sure your neck is accessible, remove necklaces and wear clothing that allows easy access to the neck.
Where are the blood tests carried out?
Blood tests are carried out at our approved partner locations. Our partner locations are within walking distance from most UKSONO Healthcare locations.
Do you name the blood-test partner?
No partner name is displayed on this page. Practical instructions for the blood-test component are provided as part of the package process.
Do I need to prepare for the blood test?
The current service guidance advises stopping biotin supplements for 72 hours before testing, drinking water about one hour beforehand and avoiding coffee, tea and energy drinks on the day.
What is included in the £300 Health Check?
Neck & Thyroid Ultrasound plus Free T4, Free T3 and TSH blood testing.
What does the £450 Premium package add?
Premium includes ultrasound, thyroid function tests, TG Ab and TPO Ab, plus Vitamin B12, Folate, Ferritin and Vitamin D.
What does the £520 Super Premium package add?
It includes everything in Premium plus a 15-minute online GP consultation.
When will I receive the results?
Ultrasound findings and the written scan report are provided on the same day. Blood-test results are typically available within 24–72 hours.
Can I book only the ultrasound?
Yes. The standalone Neck & Thyroid Scan is £190 and does not include blood testing.
